Where can I get free plans to build a wooden side gate to our property? (2m x 1m). Looked on the net and can't find.

BTW, I am trying to put something a bit more decent than few planks nailed together in a Z frame :D

We've got one of the Wickes ones - they are pretty decent kits that give you a number of options (i.e. whether to cut it off to make a round top, or leave it flat, how wide you make it etc). We had to put one in pdq when our house was broken into after the previous side gate disintegrated during a gale. One Sunday afternoon was all it took to get said item from Wickes and put it together with my dad before hanging it.

Ditto the above ( we've got 2 ). Very easy to put together for anyone with the slightest amount of DIY experience, which I'm assuming the OP has as they are talking about building one from scratch.
