At what price would you only send to a confirmed address?

I have some xmassy items for around £50 and don't want to be scammed. I have sold a couple but some are sticking. On my bidders requirements I have put paypal only and they must have a credit card and on file and a paypal account. Is this putting buyers off, should I risk removing the buyer requirements?

I have the same dilemma in my ebay shop, for items above £30 I have stipulated that buyers should only pay via paypal who are verified and confirmed, otherwise I will take a cheque. the problem is that you are not covered by paypal for items to an unconfirmed address AND for items not sent by trackable mail, which costs a LOT more. I am very wary of being scammed as we are a business and not just selling our old stuff. I am surprised to find that business sellers have little more protection than private sellers with paypal. fingers crossed, I havent had a problem , yet!0

Perhaps I could add to my listings that if a buyer does not meet my requirements that could contact me to arrange a different form of payment.
When I have I not added the buyer requirements and just stated in listing that I will only post to confirmed addresses when paypal is used - I've always had bidders pay with paypal from unconfirmed addresses! Can't seem to win with this one. You should be able to set the auction to accept paypal only when buyer is confirmed but also take cheques/po if not paying by paypal.0 -
I think that the problem must be that buyers click on buy it now without reading all the t and c's. I agree that you should have the facility to refuse unconfirmed payments BEFORE they commit to buy.0
