Yeah I got fined the first few times because I didn't know understand how to fill the forms, until I did it online and found it much easier to understand. I must of had 4 £100 fines and got £200 back though I'm gonno see if I can get the other 200 quid back.

So...you dont know how to fill the forms in...you do nothing to try to find out how to fill the forms in...you get a fine from HMRC and you call them crooks ????

Well for some of us we don't have a clue at first of what to do and panic and ignore it or try and get help but don't get it, I eventually got help but it's was too late and got fined twice for the same year.

Back 9 years ago when I was 19 and tried to fill out the form for the first time I was confused with the paper SA, when I found out about online SA and did it online for the first time it was very easy. Back then I didn't know about these sort of forums which I could of got help from.

The amount you paid in fines would have went towards paying an accountant to complete your return though.

I do have to agree with you however , the online filing does make life easier .
