in Cutting tax
Hi doing my SA 09/10 online done it before no problems, i want to figure out my if I owe them tax on my jsa where do I put the taxable figure online.
Total earnings £11806.14
Total tax £1605.20 paid
Total JSA £1478.90 taxable figure from P60U
Tax code 647L
what is the tax refunded figure on the P60U from what I can see is the tax refunded box has £0.00 so dosen't that mean I havent had any income tax refunded.
When I put just my earnings and tax deducted online sa I get a over payment over £500
But when I put the income tax refunded figure of £1478.09 and my earnings the calcuation I get is I owe them over £900. So is Jsa figure the Income tax refunded figure or it something else.
I hope I made sense

What tax code is on the P60U?0

The Job seekers seems to be £1478.90, not the tax refunded figure. Is there an 'x' after the tax code?0

I don't know if I should submit my sa or not since I didn't get my tax refunded from jsa or hmc I'm gonno go ahead and submit my sa form online and hope for the best, and send the P60U with P45 to the tax office after. I hope I'm doing the right thing.0

Really gutted about SA it looks like I will be getting fined because I didn't activate my code on time0

Yeah I got fined the first few times because I didn't know understand how to fill the forms, until I did it online and found it much easier to understand. I must of had 4 £100 fines and got £200 back though I'm gonno see if I can get the other 200 quid back.

If there is an 'x' as you say - you have not received any refund from DSS. You are due a repayment which I calculate at £243 if the JSA amount of 1478 is in addition to earnings of 11806, or 834 if it is included.0

So do I just send both P60U and P45 to get my repayment to the tax office then?
I guess I will have to pay them back as when I sent my sa online yesterday it did say I was to get over £500 back so I will get overpaid then.0 -
