Hi listed my last mobile phone on eBay and it ended today.
This is the first time I've sold something and I think I've been stung.
The phone finished at £920.00 obviously knowbody isn't going to pay for this however will i be lumbered with a large eBay fee.
If this person doesn't pay (which isn't going to happen) am I entitled to a refund?

Advice welcome or any genuine bids or the phone lol

You'll get the fees back when you lodge a non paying bidders complaint.
Looking at the winners feedback they're clearly dodgyMy Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

i had a couple of dodgy emails from a 'kelly drogba' asking me to post to nigeria.
he sent me a papyal phishing e-mail saying he'd sent the money but it was really dodgy so I told him/her no. then a bidding war started.0 -
I think every auction for mobiles gets the scam Emails from someone asking you to send it to Nigeria.
Your auction is a little odd, because all the bidders have decent feedback records, yet these phones seem to be selling for between £130 and £200, bot £950. I would understand if it had been bid up by accounts with no feedback, or no feedback at all.
Perhaps someone will pay you the money? I would be careful before accepting by Paypal if they do though. Make sure it is from a confirmed account.0 -
I just had an e-mail fomr eBay which sheds some light.
This email is to inform you that any recent bids placed by btyw may have been by an unauthorized third party. We are now in the process of restoring the account to its true owner.
If this person was the winning bidder for the transaction then the transaction in question should be considered null and void. You may relist the item and request a credit for the Final Value Fee. When a seller submits a final value fee credit request, unpaid Items are automatically identified by our system. Our system will then keep records of the credit requests that are received from sellers regarding transactions that were not completed.
btyw was one of the bidders0
