Help with accrued holiday pay

Evening all
This is my first post, been a long time follower of the forums.
I recently had to make the difficult decision to leave The Forces for the sake of my family, my P staff (well OC P1 at least) have been super about the whole thing, couldnt have asked for more.
I was discharged recently, however still had some accrued holiday, which I was not paid in my final wage from the job. I have asked to be paid it (afterall I've earned it). I'd like to know if The Forces are bound by the same rules as normal employers when it comes to accrued holiday not taken. JPAC said all that is needed is a Form 001 and that will take care of it.
Any thoughts?
I know in an ideal world I should have taken the leave and post dated my discharge date take effect on my last day of leave, however due to a job offer I had to take the oppertunity to get out quickly.

The Forces never used to buy back leave, it used to be use it or lose it.
However, in the last couple of years, they have introduced the buying back of leave. I am not in work at the moment so I can't check, and I can't remember what circumstances they will do this in. I am not in work until Wednesday now, so can't check until then.
Maybe better of posting of Rum Ration or Arrse,0 -

JSP 760
1.013 For Service personnel about to leave the Service; all outstanding leave must be taken with Terminal Leave. Service personnel will not be paid for any untaken leave except in lieu of death in service. (see Terminal Leave para 19.005)0 -
This kind of question was asked on e-goat just before Christmas and received replies.

If you are the same individual, then you have already had your answer. If not, then whoever worked out your discharge date has cocked up.
Either way, HM Forces dont buy back untaken leave.0 -
I've been back in work today and to clarify my earlier post, the Forces will only by back unused leave, when death in service occurs and a payment will be made to the estate. I knew I had read something about it, but just couldn't remember what!0
