iPod Shuffle - best way to connect to the computer?

What's the best way - should I just get the standard dock, or do you think they're a rip off? I've found a cable on Amazon - what do you think?

  • Didn't you get a cable with it?

    Junior only has hers attached for file transfer and charging; no point in spending extra cash for fancy cradles if the standard one does what you want.

    My advice stands, though - no point in buying anything fancy if you're only going to charge it and sync it.

    EDIT: Having said that, maybe you'd be less likely to lose a big, flashy-lighty-thingy, though. ;o)

    Mmm, that's what I was thinking... I think i'll just leave it plugged into the computer - the cable isn't too long and it stops me from losing it. Plus, it only costs £2 or so. Any free delivery codes around? ;)

    Why not leave the cable plugged into the pc, i do it with my usb cable for my htc phone, in fact ive got 2 of the cables(1 downstairs and 1 upstairs so which ever pc im at i can charge it when at the pc)
