Boy's Winter Coat - Any Offers/Bargains?

Hiya

My four year old needs a new winter coat. (He's a small four so will be looking for age 3-4 if that makes any difference.) Had a quick look around my local town but haven't seen any decent coats on sale.

Any suggestions? Anybody spotted any great bargains either online or instore?

  • Adams have 25% off all coats at mo, well in west yorks anyway.

Do you have an ASDA? Got 1 last year for £6 I think and that was full price.

I've saved my Nectar vouchers for my sons coats worth looking at if you have one as the vouchers are worth £5 in Adams instead of £2.50 off shopping. Primark had some in when I last looked.

If you can bear waiting Aldi do their skiwear around Xmas. They do children from age 3ish. You can kit your son out for approx £15 and have a pair of really warm salopette trousers to boot for when we have any snow.

  • Got my 7 year old a fantastic warm padded, winter coat in Primark £7 and that was not a sale price that was normal. So far he's said he's been too hot to fasten it up. And it's showerproof.

roo's came from oxfam, and spud's was bought in last year's sale at £4 (but £8 full price is still pretty cheap, that was from asda).

but anyway, do you need anything else? tesco have clothing vouchers at the moment, by the customer service desk probably. i think they expire on sunday though. if you spend £20 on kids and £35 on womens or mens you can put through all 3 vouchers for £4, £7 and £10 off, saving £21 on a £55 spend. i'm getting a cashmere sweater for xmas, they're £35. need to buy it before the vouchers expire.

  • Mine got padded jackets from Next (directory but they're in store too). £12.99 - but really nice colourful coats - I'd looked everywhere, but couldn't find anything else I liked.

  • I got my son's coat from ebay - it's a Next one, second hand but in great condition and it cost 4.40 including postage and packing. Can't say fairer than that! I get most of my kids' clothes from ebay and ahve always been impressed with what I've got both price and quality wise.
