Scottish Power Doorstep caller
Probably an old one, but it had me laughing.
Caller at door identified himself as working for Scottish Power. Asked if he could see my last bill. Told him I was not with Scottish Power.
Replied that Scottish Power were the supplier for my area and as such had an obligation to check that householders were not being overcharged.
Told him that I had no intention of changing supplier and he left.
He was very convincing and I felt sorry for the many people he was likely to switch.
