I think I must have altered something in Control Panel as when I get to this site my name is no longer showing at the top. I keep having to remember to enter J and then the rest gets filled in i.e. user name in full and password.

I keep ticking remember me and have checked various places where I have inadvertantly changed the option but so far have not found what I did to cause this. Any ideas please?

You can try clearing all your cookies or find the moneysavingexpert one and delete that.

    Sometimes they get corrupted.

This usually happens when you have accidentally entered a different username/password and firefox has ended up with two entries for the same site, so it doesn't know which one to use until you have started typing the username.

    To fix, try this:
    * In Firefox, Click Tools>Options, click on the Security tab , and then the box that says "Saved passwords..."

    * Find the entries for the site you want to remember the password for, and delete them.

    * Now next time you log into the site it should offer to remember the password, and you won't have to enter the username each time.

(There's one other thing it could be, but try this first.)
