EDF / Sainsburys
Hi,
I have a few questions. I switched to EDF last September (caught in the supermarket and that was just plain dumb on my behalf to sign up), anyway I know I am stuck with them until August now so:
1. Gas still not sorted out, we have an IGT and we had all sorts of trouble switching from EDF to British Gas first time so why I didn't realise the grief that causes this time around I've no idea. As the deal was sold as dual fuel and they haven't fulfilled that yet, any chance I can switch out of Electricity too?
2. Electric bill way higher than expected for 1/4 - £170 underpaid from direct debits. The estimate is pretty accurate as I just took a reading and it's not that much different. By their bunf, it would be cheaper that BG but that isn't the case, we use gas heating so electric usage is pretty steady and all appliances are A rated. Is that something we could/should discuss with Ofgem?
3. I just saw that your supplier is supposed to have provided a yearly statement by 12/2010 but we never got that. I'm guessing they will say that we haven;t been with them a year so they can't do that, is that true or do they have to do it anyway?
Due to the pack of lies they told me I don't intend to renew anyway but I don't want to end up with more problems than I have to when I switch again.
Thanks.
