every time i boot my windows 7 machine the libraries folder opens.
i have looked in start up, but it is not listed there, what could be causing this many thanks

Back on windows XP this used to happen with the My Documents folder and was a virus, I have not heard if this is a new form of it on Windows 7, but you can check here:
Click Start > Click on All Programs, right click on the Startup folder, and click on Open or Explore.
Right click on the shortcut in the Startup folder and click on Delete.
If it is listed there then delete it and it should not run at start up anymore.0 -
Could happen if you have a USB device attached such as a Flash Drive or iPhone!0

hi there , there is nothing in the start up folder, done a full scan with avast and malwarebytes nothing found. i do not have any peripherals attached apart from keyboard, mouse, screen, and usb wireless adapter , many thanks0
