So you think november 2006 was 5 years ago.
Explains a lot.
Read the OP again and then my reply.
I stated I never watched the video and the OP said 2006 with no reference to which month.
I simply took 2006 (from the OP's data) away from 2011 (now) and referred it was 5 years ago.
If the conference was in November, I'm happy to stand corrected and amend this to 4 years and 3 months (let's not get pedantic now as to which day in Nov, it's a simple rough timeframe)
The point and fact still remains that during that time, house prices corrected by a higher figure both nominally and as a percentage than in the 90's.
Happy to explain facts to you further as required.:wall:

Just substitute the word 'britain' for' america' and 'british' for 'american' and you will soon realise that everything he is talking about applies exactly to us in exactly the same way and that our crash is most definately coming

The fact is theres millions of acres of scrubland nobody will ever want to build on is irrelevent. Whats the same is the bubble in housing, the factors that created it and the reasons why they are both crashing, the US slightely ahead of the UK.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Your keen to compare the US to the UK.
Could you therefore compare US cities to UK cities
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-12280038Some of the other worst-hit cities include Detroit (down 48% since its peak) and Miami (down 49%), according to analysis by Bill McBride of the Calculated Risk blog.
I presume you'll probably come back with Northern Ireland, but are there any comparisons of the same scale in mainland UK?:wall:

How does that fit in with those $250 houses in Detroit, and no I haven't missed the zeros off
