I am looking for a card that i can use exclusively for Ebay/Paypal. I have had so many problems with these clowns that i really don't want them having my bank details. I need a card i can use to register a new Ebay and Paypal account and get Paypal to transfer my money onto so i can withdraw it. Can you recommend anything suitable? I would also like to add a second user at a different address.
Please don't say try ebid, cqout or an alternative. I have tried them all and they are a waste of time. Ebay know this and take full advantage of it. I need my Ebay income of £40-£50 a week.
Thanks

Someone (not a spammer as per post 2) may want to correct me, but i don't think a prepaid card will work longtime for paypal. You will still need to do all the full verification and provide details of a bank account for the small payments they pay in to verify you.
If you need to sell on ebay you might want to work out where you have had issues with them, and make sure you are better safeguarded this time before you sell anymore.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Ebay and paypal should be closed down. They are the worst companies i have ever dealt with. Some of the excuses they have used for banning me are
 1. I was earning too much, £130 in three weeks
 2. They thought my account was associated with a suspended member
 3. They froze my account and demanded that i faxed them my passport, bank statement and proof that i owned the goods i was selling. Apart from the fact that nobody has used a fax for the last twenty years i would never consider giving information like this to anyone.
 4. They insisted that i offer paypal as a payment option and banned me for charging a 10% surcharge
 5. They noticed suspicious activity on my account
 6. My phone number did not contain the correct area code (it did)
 7. I used a copyrighted photo (i took the photo myself)
 8. A buyer said he never received a £2 fridge magnet which i posted the day he paid
 9. Too many people bid on one of my items
This is all absolute nonsense. My solicitor read the paypal terms of use and said any seller would be crazy to do business with them. But buyers are too lazy to do a BACS transfer, they all want to use paypal because Ebay keep promoting them. I don't think people realise Ebay own paypal. I have tried all the other auction sites and even made my own website but nothing sold. I hate using them but Ebay is not optional, i simply have to be there.0

I doubt a pre-paid card will work, To verify an account they put a few p into it and you need to check the amounts
and enter that to complete the verification. A prepay card wont allow that will it. Minimum topup amount and topup fees?
I did read someone said they couldnt link their paypal prepay car to paypal for payment. Or maybe my memory is going?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

That was what I thought as well, I definitely remember a thread about it before and a pre paid card did not satisfy the verification process so whilst I seem to recall the seller being able to register it, they only got to about 2 weeks before paypal temporarily suspended their account until they provided more info and a different card.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You may need to re think your attitude towards paypal to succeed. A lot of the things you mention like the 10% surcharge have not been allowed for many years so trying to work the system is not a good idea and will lead you to problems.
If you are rrunning a business then of course all the fees are tax deductible anyway so you'll find it easier to work with paypal ratehr than against them. All of us here that sell use paypal, we all pay the same fees as you and yes we often have a good whinge about it. However we know how it works and how much risk we need to take, and instead of fighting it we find ways of using it to our business advantage.
As for buyers wanting to use paypal, I think you completely misunderstand the problem. Of course buyers want to use paypal, it is completely safe for them as they are covered against rogue buyers. Why would any buyer risk a bank transfer..it is nothing at all to do with laziness and all to do with buyers have a bit of intelligence and wanting to stay safe.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I use Entropay without any problem at all. I was banned from ebay about 3 years ago and opened a new account using entropay as my credit card and have never had a problem. From memory you have to put £10 on it to open it.0

You've done well to survive 3 years trading on a new account while suspended on another. Most people get caught within a couple of years at most.
Does the card also work with paypal or have you had any issues with the verification procedure?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Soolin.... I know paypal offer protection for buyers but they offer no protection for sellers. I sold a Royal wedding souvenir to a buyer in America for £70 he paid by paypal then said it was not as advertised and wanted a refund. I refused as it was exactly as i described it and i had listed six photo’s. He complained to paypal and they froze the money in my account while they investigated. I told them i would not be giving a refund and demanded that they transfer the money to my bank account. They sent a standard reply e-mail basically telling me that they have the right to decide if a buyer can have a refund and i am supposed to just accept their decision. After a few weeks they said they had decided in favour of the buyer (they always do). A package arrived while i was out and a neighbour signed for it. It contained a few stones wrapped in newspaper. The buyer had sent this rubbish knowing that all he needed was proof he had returned the item for a refund. The signature was accepted as proof and paypal stole my money to refund him. He even had the cheek to leave negative feedback knowing i could not retaliate. I had to sue them in the small claims court. The day before we were due in court they backed down and refunded me. So i charge an extra 10% because i don’t want to deal with them. I am not running a business, i am just trying to earn a bit of spare cash to pay my way through college. Most of the things i sell are less than £10

 Dug123.... I will have a look at Entropay, thanks0

Dug123.... I had a look at the Entropay site. Are paypal happy to accept it to verify an account without bank details and transfer money to it?0

That's why there are buyers on ebay because they feel safe. Other sites don't insist on seller staking paypal and they often have no buyers at all.
If you want to sell you have to give buyers a good experience, and if that makes them feel safe then so be it.
Yes there are some scammers on ebay, but such a tiny amount that you have obviously been unlucky in meeting one. By trying to breach rules by doing things like surcharging you are just bringing yourself to the attention of ebay and paypal, and they will pick out every single thing you do wrong.Dug123.... There ar every few reports online about entropay and paypal, but it seems split around 50/50 as to whether people have successfully used it for paypal or not. However you will need to verify using a bank account as well once you start taking money through paypal, so you will still need a bank account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
