Lots of electricity and a tiny bit of gas.
Hi
I am about to move to a flat where the heating and hot water are electric but there is a gas hob. I have been trying to use uswitch to work out if its better to go for a dual tariff but obviously my usage is not going to be the same as the average ones used to estimate the bills.
Are there any comparison sites that let you play around with the usage or has anyone got any tips from being in a similar position?
Thanks

I'd suggest not going for dual fuel.
Have a look at Ebico for your gas as they charge a flat rate with no standing charge.
They will be uncompetitive for electricity so shop around for the best offer. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Shop around by runnign the comparison separately for only electric and electric + gas dual fuel. I have very low gas useage too but tend to find dual fuel works out better, especially on the cashback fronts0
