Hello
Could someone please help me with a problem i have with Iqor.
Three years ago my halifax credit card was handed over to Iqor due to my bad health, since then i have been paying them every month for the last three years without missing any payments. Every so often i receive a phone call asking to either pay all the amount owing or to increase my payments per month which i reply i am unable to do so. Today i receive a call asking to pay the amount immediately to which i responded if i could i would. The person on the phone then asked if i could increase my payments because it had been over three years, i said im very sorry but i cannot pay anymore, i was then asked to ring thier office and tell them what my expenditure is per month. Why should i if i am making regular payments can they make me pay more ?
Thanks
Paul

iqor is one of the bad eggs in debt recovery companies. They are known for being extremely pushy.
If i was you i would put it in writing that you cannot afford to up your payments, along with the fact you have maintained regular payments without defaulting on the agreement for 3 years and ask them formally to put a stop to demanding phone calls as it is causing you distressEven a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.0
