Acer Aspire One problem with internet connection

Ok folks, before I start I have no idea whatsoever how Linux works or how you type commands into it etc so please bear that in mind. :o We have one of the Aspire One's that were on offer in Asda a couple of years ago, the ones that run Linux Linpus Lite (I think that is what it is). Anyway, my husband tried to get online…

I had given up on this as we had a new Acer but decided to search again tonight to try to find the answer and I found it.

It was amazingly simple and done within a couple of minutes.

If anyone else is having the same problem, go to your files and find the mozilla folder and rename it mozillaold.

It will sort the problem out for you and you will be able to get online again.

I now have one very happy 12 year old as I have given the newly working one to her.
