Hi,
I use several words and phrases very frequently when using the internet (for example, I enter these words into google search). Instead of having to type them out again and again, is there a way I can assign them to different function keys?
Any help gratefully received.
Best,
Rods

You mean like a catch-phrase??
Are you 'avin a laf??0 -
No, I frequently enter words to do with my studies: 'German philosophy', 'existentialism' and so on. I'm bored of typing them out repeatedly. It'd be easier if I could simply press an f key and... voila!0

Surely autofill should take care of that (or am I missing something)?0

In some word processors you could use the Autocorrect (or similar) function for certain words or phrases. For example, you could get it to change 'gph' to 'German Philosophy'.
However, as for other apps... not sure. There's probably software somewhere to do it, I just have no suggestions0 -

You want this free firefox extension:
InformEnter
Autohotkey (the prog. linked too above by alanclose) is good, but overkill IMHO.0
