Built in ovens - recommendations?

Hi
My elderly built in double oven is on its last legs. It is a Creda Europa (electric) with Solarplus grill which I love and I was going to buy the equivalent modern version but have been told that since Indesit took over Creda/Hotpoint the quality has gone down. Does anyone have any knowledge of this? I can't find any reviews of the new oven (S150E) on the internet.
If anyone knows of a better double oven with really fast grill I'd be very interested. I have to cook for 15 at Christmas so need to get this sorted! Any help would be much appreciated...Thanks.

have you checked WHICH MAGAZINE SITE? OR GOODHOUSEKEEPING SITE? reviews on ovens there0 -
Thanks - yes I have. I was hoping to find a comparison with the Creda S150E but it's not mentioned. There's an AEG one with a fast grill but it's twice the price! Is it a case of getting what you pay for?0

Modern ovens are very flimsy compared to those 40 or so years ago, and especially compared to free standing cookers. There are only around 3 manufacturers now. Google for Electrolux group of companies and you will find that they own all the old traditional names. Neff and Bosch are in the same group as well, but prices vary.0 -
These are the Which best buys for this year. They are all single ovens (I dont think you said if yours was single or double). They list some doubles as well at about the £1000 mark
Miele H4250B £800
AEG-Electrolux B8871-4 £560
Whirlpool AKZ650/IX £456
John Lewis JLBIOS603 £500
Bosch HBN430550B £580
Whirlpool AKZ497/IX £458I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0 -
Go with Lord_Gardeners suggestion and you wont go far wrong. We have a Neff built under double oven and it's great. Grill's great too.0
