Parking ticket paid but one day over time limit. What can i do?

I recently paid a parking ticket online for £60.00 and the payment was accepted even though it was a day late. That's a relief i thought. However last week i was sent an Order for recovery of unpaid PCN and the fine has been raised to £125.00. Is there a way of appealing against this? Help much appreciated.

If you have any mitigating circs for missing the deadline for paying you could try them. But don't hold your breath if you just forgot about paying it on time.0

Pepipoo.com is the place for you, they are used to these sort of cases.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

peter_the_piper oo, do you work for pepipoo by any chance? i only ask because of the user name and the fact that most of your posts just refer people the that site.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

I only refer the posts which can benefit from their extra help, not most of them. No I do not work for them just feel that I know what the limits of this forum is and wish to help the poster. You will find that a few of the regulars on here also do so for the same reason.
We only wish to help, if we can't we know a man who can.
What do you suggest the OP does?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
