Duo fruit trees -dwarf fruit trees

I'm wondering whether to buy one pack of those four, and then buy an extra apple and an extra pear from the nursery to aid with the pollination. I take it that two self pollinating apples trees would also pollinate each other? Will I still need to work out pollination groups?
