Hiya I take it is for Diet Pills/Weight gain supplement/Tooth whitening??? Thousands of people are being scammed by this You order a free sample but fail to see the small print which states you have to pay for a monthly supply ad nauseum
If I were you I would contact the CC company and either cancel the card and get a new one or failing that report the card lost/stolen and get a new card The direct debits you do want will have to be re-instated
Then write to the company supplying the 'miracle goods' cancelling your contract
No point in phoning them as they will not answer the phone
Good Luck

Sadly the UK Payments industry, an ongoing disaster area, failed to organise any vetting or licensing of the firms that can take recurring card payments, or to impose any time limit, or even to require that the card isn't expired. Unbelievable but true.
You could explore whether the chargeback system can get you any money back."It will take, five, 10, 15 years to get back to where we need to be. But it's no longer the individual banks that are in the wrong, it's the banking industry as a whole." - Steven Cooper, head of personal and business banking at Barclays, talking to Martin Lewis0 -
Yes doing it online is the best idea but we are not aware if the company you dealt with actually has such a feature. if nothing else works then you have no option but to personally visit the company's office.0

As this is a credit card, unfortunately these aren't going to be direct debits, they are something called a 'continuous authority'. These have to be stopped by the originating company not the bank, so you have to persevere in finding a contact address for the company and write to them giving notice that you want to cancel. Keep a record of your attempts to contact them, so that if they continue to ignore you go back to the bank and show that you have attempted but failed to contact the company.0 -
sorry I should have made it clear that this is my debit card not a credit card and the item I bought was a monitor for my computer not any whacky items as suggested0
