    Afternoon, everyone.

Piggers many thanks for putting Wednesday up early – if I can get ahead with at least some of it, we can enjoy our day tomorrow without even thinking about housework.;) I hope OH gets on OK at the Fang Farrier's.

Valli/Toots Mr LW and I have our PC towers to pieces to evict dust bunnies every 3 months or so – it's amazing what gets in there!

Sunnygirl hope the results of your Dad's biopsy are what he wants them to be.

Nixie I'm not on FB. (Have a hard enough time tearing myself away from MSE to actually do things, without being on FB as well!!):o

lostinrates hey, are you OK? As one who has falls rather too frequently, I sympathise. Take care. (((HUG)))

Lil_me you too – twisted ankles can be sooooo painful!

Mumof2 Just seen Nixie's post about CBT being motorbike Compulsory Basic Training; to Mr LW (a 'puter techie) it means Computer Based Training!:D Hope it's going well for you, and helps you, in any case.

    Happy Birthday jjef.:bdaycake:

Um.... it would seem that the mega-list thingy is catching..... *clears throat* My name is Wolf and I have a Toots OMG List. But it's only up to 46 items..... so far.....:D

Just had some good news – got an email re dog-sitting; Dilly's coming back here 28th Feb to 6th March!:T:T:T:T:T

Listy update: some is done, so I'll post, then delete those items off my Word.doc to make it easier to see what I still need to do.:o

  • Okay, in my HHC I stripped down the sofa, vaccumed it and stuck the cushions in the wash.
    Did the dusting
    washed the windows
made a start on cleaning the fireplace

What are everyone's thoughts on cleaning (ie proper cleaning not just vaccing) sofas. Do it yourself? If so what's the most effective cleaning product you've found, Hire in a steam cleaner, or get professionals in to do it? Ours hasn't been cleaned for years, and it's filthy what with having a dog, teenagers and a coal fire......

eta embb yeek! Sorry to hear about your car. Not good. x

  • Sun is actually shining for once today and its not too chilly so Ive been pottering round the [STRIKE]bog marsh[/STRIKE] garden picking up all the carp that the dog has taken out! I found 11 socks, 1 microfiber wash cloth and 3 pairs of daughters nickers!!!

Off to empty the dishwasher and take some chicken out of the freezer ready for tomorrow nights dinner then sit down for 10 mins with a :coffee:

Im not doing my bedroom today so have done the bathroom, downstairs loo, both set of stairs and the landings. Oh the joys of living in a 3 storey house!!

Hope everyone is having a good day.
