    The man without a signature.
  • Pity about the name, not going to get much cred when you drop your keys on the coffee table and say MINE'S A BONGO.
You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)
  • Looked at them before we bought our Grand Voyager. Dont think we found anything that put us off (cant remember now), just got a good spec voyager first.

If the name really bothers you, I'm pretty sure the Ford Freida is the same vehicle, but really, don't look at Jap imports if a silly name is going to put you off (Nissan Cedric anyone? Honda Life Dunk?)

Not owned one myself but aren't these available with something stupid like a 2.5 litre petrol V6 and RWD?

Edit: Right now, I'd probably be looking to buy one that's been in the UK for a bit, or at the very least has only just arrived from Japan. Any fresh imports showing up a month from now are likely to be a bit soggy. (Takes 2 months to get a car from Japan to Europe)

My son bought a Bongo from a UK importer. His first motorhome and had no problems with reliability. Good value for anyone wishing to combine a travelling holiday home with normal day-to-day transport. He had difficulty with insurance because many companies reject 'imports'. He eventually wanted something bigger and had no trouble selling his Bongo. They are old vehicles but most have not done many miles because there are not so many miles to cover in Japan! They also have Japanese built reliability!

And remember the Ford Freda is the same vehicle:).

Isn't it just a Ford Tranist van?
