Hi guys,
Wondering if anyone has suggestions for a good host? At the present time, I'm with Streamline.net (don't ask how this happened), but thought that since renewal is coming up, time for me to move. I've found something that seems too good to be true:
http://www.zyma.com/
Anyone heard of these guys?
Any info is much appreciated.

are the company I've used, the key feature being they have really good customer support, with a real person at the end of a keyboard.
Cheap and in the 20 times (no exaggeration) I've used their customer service, they've been amazing.

What is it you need to host? does it need to be able to handle SQL? or just basic web?
I would recommend:
netpivotal.co.uk
They are good and reliable.0 -
stablehost.com are good too.0

Just a simple wordpress blog that should have enough space for a gallery. It's not a business or anything, so I don't mind shared hosting. So far, the following sites seem to be of interest:
https://www.one.com
https://www.arvixe.com
https://www.hostgator.com
https://www.webhostingpad.com
https://www.mddhosting.com0 -
Been happy with eUKHost for one of my sites, and priced aggressively too.0

Been with 1&1 for donkies for both host and domains. But the 8.99 was killing me for what I used, so i shopped around and managed to find a VPS for £3.5 a month. (500gigawatts bandwidth, 25gigawatts space with 512multibytes dedicated RAM on a i7 server). Company is called Host Mist and so far so good, I still have my domains with 1&1 but HostMist (if you know your linux) is brilliant.0

Yep, going with a Linux shared host. VPS for only 3.5? I'll check it out...0 -
I use http://asmallorange.com
There's plenty of discount codes on the customer forums. (I can supposedly generate them too, but I don't benefit from referrals so haven't bothered)If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.0 -
tsohosts for me, cheap, amazingly fast email response to queries (litterally replies in minutes day or night (try asking a query such as a sales question at 11pm saturday night and you might get an answer before it's Sunday!)
http://www.tsohost.co.uk/
I use Easyspace also and would not recommend them as they're quite costly and give nowhere near as good a service.
