Nat West Business asccount

Can you claim for charges on a business account such as Nat West direct banking? Obviously most people are claiming for personal accounts?

Many thanks

Commercial arrangements have less consumer protection as its business, not consumer. What grounds would you have for requesting a refund?

Hardly anyone is claiming nowadays. Since the court case ruled in favour of the banks and the FOS stopped considering complaints (other than incorrect application of financial hardship).

Reclaiming on legal grounds as described in the MSE guide is probably not possible as that is based on statutes that concern consumers, not businesses. But no one, including consumers, has reported any success in court using that guide anyway.

You may be able to claim on the basis of financial hardship (assuming this applies to you) and you are classed as a "micro-enterprise".
See the lending code (available in the financial hardship online resources sticky thread) to understand what this means.
