Apparently not, as they say... "payment recieved with thanks", meaning that they are thanking you for having already paid.0 -
But i haven't paid!
Just worried in case they expect me to pay for something i didn't order, the company don't even hold my details apart from my address when i requested a free handbook from the freebies page on this website.
I have searched recent posts, just to check if anyone else has received the goods maybe as a promotion, but nothing!0 -
So you have ordered something from the company then... albeit a free book.
Have you received that book?
Could it be that they have sent the wrong thing by mistake?
You just haven't told us enough to be able to answer your question...

Are they addressed to you? If so, it's looking hopeful - but they dont belong to you yet...
source: http://www.compactlaw.co.uk/legal-glossary/u/unsolicited-goods.htmlUnsolicited Goods
Goods sent to a person who has not requested them. The person receiving the goods does not have to pay for them. After 6 months the goods become the property of the person who received them. If the receiving party contacts the sender and asks for the goods to be picked up (and they are not), the receiving party becomes the owner of the goods after 30 days. Before the receiving party becomes the owner they must look after the goods and not dispose of them.0 -

OP, I'll leave you to it.0 -
The book if you can call it that came months ago. It was a freebie off here and supposed to be a wildlife handbook instead was more of a catalogue. Haven't had any contact with the company since then!
The goods are address to me. The piece of paper that came with goods has what has been ordered (approx £20 worth) and in small print "we appreciate your custom, payment received with thanks". On the top half of the document it has a priority order form with a filled in example and to the right there is a box to fill in payment/delivery details.0 -
Thanks Fluffnutter.

Sorry I originally posted in the vent board as not too sure where to post and because i wanted to rant.
Then found the consumer advice board and wanted to ask about unsolicited goods.
Sorry if i caused trouble.
Should i report to trading standards if not a mistake on the companies behalf??0
