I have to offer a service to buy local items based on details entered on a website.

Basically something like the idea of webuyanycar, CEX, etc, but for a specific type of product.

I would want the respondent to enter some details - some from dropdowns and some responses via free form text.

Once the respondent clicks 'OK' then i get their responses via email.

I would then evaluate what they have and respond with a valuation within 24 hrs.

Things like surveymonkey have potential but they only offer 'summary' responses?

Can anyone offer any advice?

Wordpress blogs can do this, there is an easy to use form builder, which will also send you the resposnses by email.

Thanks. This worked a treat. Set up my own domain and used the wordpress blog form builder.

Had it all up and running in an evening. Generated 15-20 enquiries on its first day, from which i made 10 offers, and i've had one person accept my valuation for their car - picking it up tonight.

If it continues to be this successful, then i can work on upgrading the site.

    Glad it worked :)

Wordpress is (IMHO) one of the most efficient site building setups.
Having moved my site from google sites to wordpress I find it to be much more user friendly, plus there are many more features.

I think, though I can't be sure since I don't think google has a stats page, that wordpress indexes better in search engines...
