Processors !!! and that's just the start. Which processor should I shortlist my choice of laptop to?? Recommendations please.

AMD Phenom 2 and Intel I3,I5 and I7 would be the choices to go for depending on budget. If you budget is less than £400 I3 or Phenom 2 above and I5 or I7 if you can find it for less than £10000

To be fair you'd only need a 15-17 if you were to be gaming or using a lot of heavy programs, should it just be fore surfing the internet or emails you'd be fine with a Core Duo 2Total Debt: £1363.85
O2 - £719.85/£719.85 * FLM Loan - £300/£300 * PaydayExpress - £235/£235
Barclays - £109/£109 * HBOS - Paid!

The best thing to do is to look at benchmarks of the CPUs that will reflect your primary uses of the laptop. Toms Hardware or the Intel and AMD websites are probably good places to look. Once you know how the CPUs compare in performance and price, you should have everything you need to make an informed decision.0

That's a great value laptop.... I'm sure the Celeron CPU bashers will say it's rubbish but a dual core CPU with 2gb ram and W7 for £240 is amazing value however you look at it.
