I have been using my camera for nearly a year now and now problems....have around 100 pictures on the card and cannot get them off at all. Have even tried putting the card into a reader and putting it directly in the computer but nothing happens (error messages) Managed to get some thing but cant open the individual files or see the pictures - its driving me mad!
Is there anyway I can them off the card or should I just call it a day.....Its a 4g Scandisk card - are they known for this or am I just unlucky?

I have a similar problem with an xD card, have two, one works fine but the other goes into the reader and nothing. Trial and error shows that if I put a thin piece of card into the top of the slot the card works fine! Would also suggest making sure the card contacts are clean. As a last resort go to Jessups or somewhere and get them to put the pics onto a CD. Expensive but at least you won't have lost the pics.0

I would take it to a local photo processor and see if they can get them off for you..can you still add pictures to the card ( ie take new ones) or is it full? Can you see the pictures but not download them?0

hi - thanks for all the replies - when I put the card in the reader I can see that it had jpegs on it but when I try to open them its says its doesn't support the format (using Windows 7)I think I will try our local computer shop and see if they can put them on a disk for me.
Can anyone recommend a decent memory card? or am I just unlucky?Kondo'ed 76 items from wardrobe, 4 carrier bags of books0 -
