Self Employed - Barclaycard Pre-Check Declined

Hey guys,
I just ran through the barclaycard pre-checker to see if I could get one and was greeted with the following:
"It’s mixed news - You're not currently eligible to apply for a Barclaycard but there may be alternative products with other providers"
I filled out that I was self employed earning £9320 pre-tax in the past year (I can't add that I got £4000 post-tax from part time employment too).
I'm just looking for a CC to make small purchases on, and have an agreed overdraft outstanding at £1000. My Experian credit score says 942, good and there is no yellows or reds on my report, I'm on the electoral roll and have lived in my home as a tenant for over 3 years.
What can I do?

There aren't any Barclaycards available for people on a sub 10K income
But you should have entered 13320 as your income -as that is your incomeCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

It asked for my employment status to which I put self-employed then asked for annual income, would this matter if I included part time earnings in that?
Can I run it through again or will that cause damage?
For future reference, and in case I get rejected, what cards are available for sub 10k?
Edit: Did it again, same thing! "It’s mixed news - You're not currently eligible to apply for a Barclaycard but there may be alternative products with other providers"0 -
Yeah run it through again, won't cause any damage.
I would suggest stating you are part time employed, and stating your annual income as 13320. Both are facts.
If you are rejected these cards may be better for you:

What is your credit history like? Have you had credit before (Bank account, contract phone, other loans / cards?) or any missed payments / defaults, etc? Are you registered to vote at your current address?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Personally don't know if izools agree, but don't think it came down how much you earn,as someone done the same the other day who earns 11.5k and applied for the platinum which states 20k income and they were accepted immediately.
Think there must be something on your credit report what barclaycard do not like.0 -
Same thing again, with the new earnings and new status.
I've got 3 things listed in accounts, 2 santander at green, and the O/D at green too.
No missed payments or defaults, and registered to vote.
They use equifax, right?0 -

Proven correct star-fire!
I just entered my details but with Part Time as my employment status, and 9500 as my income, and it gave me a 80-90% chance of approval for Initial.
Probs OPs credit file is too thin on the ground or the like.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Thanks for that izools, now I know someone out there does not like me.
Should I go for one of those that you suggested? Do they use Experian? Which would you recommend?0 -
Many thanks for this information i am now self employed.!The harder one works the luckier one gets!0

I ran the exact same details through Aqua (including saying I was self employed) & it said the first stage had been successful!
Edit: But now I'm thinking of going for one with my main bank account (HSBC) as they can see how much goes in
Edit Edit: And they've just approved me with a £2750 limit!0 -
Oh, well, fine.
No need to worry about sub priming it then!
Ha! Congratulations, well done, welcome to credit:beer:
