Carer's allowance

Options
My son has just been re-assessed for DLA, as he turned 12, and got it. They actually stopped it for 6 weeks while the got more evidence. At the same time, they stopped my wife's Carer's Allowance. Will she have to re-apply, or will she be considered automatically?
Strangely, this time, they have also given my son the low mobility element too.

Re apply for CA and see about getting it backdated. Many mobility claims have been reduced to low rate.

that could be age related,as for CA she will need to re-apply but its easily done and is usually dealt with quickly, although i doubt dx is right when it says it will be back dated

    Having another senior moment John?
I did tell you in another thread on DT that I did remove you from ignore so I'm able to report your posts to abuse, which I continue to do.

Happy to derail another thread it seems ;)
Just to remind your hazy memory.

Re apply for your CA and IIRC the form asks you from which date put in from the date that DLA was backdated from.
