Credit Card Abroad

I'm off to Las Vegas in April this year for a short break and want to know the best way to take my "spending money abroad"

Is this via Travellers Cheques or pay on a credit card and pay all of it off as soon as I return

If it is a card, which is the best deal around

    hi

Martins section on this details all the info you need.

i personally use the Halifax Clarity Credit Card. it has no fees when used abroad and uses a mastercard exchange rate. i believe it is the only credit card that does not charge any fees. however, there is an interest charge on what you spend on it. when you get back, just immediately pay it off, and this charge will be mimimal.

travellers cheques i feel are the next best option for safety. use martins travel money maximiser to find a good deal if you require dollars.
