Best way to sell my car privately

I am new to this board, however I am looking to sell my car privately.

I have been around all the local garages who say they cannot offer me what I want for it however I will get that amount easily selling it privately.

How do I go about this in the cheapest way?

You can try gumtree. That is where I have been looking for buying a car or try autotrader. Also ebay.
