parcelforce help please

hi i wasnt sure where to put this
but anyway i have purchased a product on ebay from america on 1st october which was sent on the 3rd october and i still havent recieved it.
I have been in touch with the seller who has given me the customs tracking number which i searched for on parcelforce website which says the status is advised please could anybody tell me what this means as i dont know
i have emailed parcelforce but no reply as yet

You can phone them on an expensive 0870 number. Here are some alternative nos to try from Say No to 0870

Good luck. They may well be holding it for you to pay customs charges and VAT before they will clear it for delivery. You can pay that with a card if that is the case.

Not to put too much of a dampener on this I hope, but when I have received parcels through Parcel Force with customs to pay, they have not allowed me to pay by card and have demanded either cash or cheque.

thanks both unfortunatly it turns out my item hasnt even made it to england yet:rolleyes: i have emailed the seller to contact the delivery place at her end and hopefully it will be somewhere lol
