Some toolbars and Smilie programs are also conduits to malware.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Routes in with good AV in place
-possible out of date browser
-out of date virus definition files
-out of date windows update security patches
-infected USB if 'autorun' feature of windows has not been disabled
-dodgy email attachment you've opened and given permission to run by clicking on
-you have downloaded and tried to install a fake version of some legitimate software that has had malware bundled in with it0 -
