Pre payment gas meter budget setting

Help! I have somehow managed to activate the 'budget' setting on my prepayment gas meter, which seems to mean it just turns itself off even though there is credit on it! Can't find the instructions anywhere and have just phoned EDF to be told their computers are down and to phone back next week!!! Does anyone know how to take the budget setting off the meter? Grateful for any help, I'm freezing!!!!

Never Heard Of A budget setting on a gas meter if you have no gas phone your supplier Edf and ask For a engineer visit , its a 4 hour call Out

Put your card in the meter and press the red button. This should release the credit, and don't ever press the black button again!
