Hi

I recently received a quote for a re-skim to my 3 bed semi detatched in Cheltenham - Rooms are of average size 4 - 4.5 metres and the quote was £2300 plus materials. Can anyone advise me on whether this is about what I should be paying?

all the ceilings? hallways?

2 bedrooms 4 x 4.5 metres
1 bedroom 3 x 3.5 metres
Bathroom 3 x 3 metres
all the landing, hallway and stairs including all ceilings.

Kitchen 6 x 4 metres.
Living room 5 x 3.6 metres
Plasterer said all the walls were solid so just a case of skimming throughout. Hope this helps

Dont think its to bad to be honest,especially if he has to remove the rads etc.
if hes on his own it will take him over a fortnight

seems like a decent price for the cheltenham area.
check his material prices though. he might surprise you there!

i like to see a job quoted all in. where possible.

Sounds reasonable - £380 for one room was by far the cheapest I could get based on several quotes, and you're talking about 6+ rooms...
