So, could it be you? If you are due to marry before 28 February 2012, we want to hear from you. Why do you think you deserve to be Style’s Princess Bride 2011? Write to us, or email, with a full-length picture of yourself, telling us, in no more than 250 words, why you deserve to win. It could be for reasons of pure romance, for triumph over tragedy, or simply for a love of fashion.
We will publish all the runners-up’s stories in Style, and the winner will be photographed in her dress by a top fashion photographer, and featured in the magazine in May. The winner must be available to come to London for four fittings, between February and April, and again for the fashion shoot in April.

Terms and conditions
1. The competition will run on https://www.sundaytimes.co.uk website from Sunday 30th January to Tuesday 15 February.
2. Closing date for entries is 23.59 on 15 February 2011.
3. Unless otherwise specified, the competition is open to UK and ROI residents aged 18 or over, except employees of Times Newspapers Limited (“TNL”), News International Limited, and their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their families, agents, or any other person(s) connected with the competition, including third party promotional partners.
4. If the entrant is entering on behalf of someone else the permission of the bride-to-be must gained before entering.
5. The bride-to-be’s wedding must be planned for before 28 February 2012.
6. Entry limited to one per person. The winner is responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out and in accordance with these terms and conditions, in the event they are unable to do so then the TNL reserves the right to redraw the prize.
7. Entry is free but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to local call charges depending on their own individual arrangements for Internet access.
8. An eligible entrant must be an individual and must submit an entry in the form provided by TNL under this promotion including their name, address and e-mail address.
9. By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by each and all these terms and conditions. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry. TNL reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. TNL reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any amendments will be published on the Website.
10. There is one first prize and 10 runners-up prizes. Entries must be the original work of the author and not previously published. The winner will be the entrant whose reason for winning, in the opinion of the judges, demonstrate the greatest emotion, storytelling ability and who will best fit the Sunday Times Style magazine cover image. Winners will be notified within twenty eight (28) days after the closing date. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner during this time. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, TNL reserves the right to re-draw another winner from the correct entries which were received before the closing date.
11. First prize is a couture wedding dress designed by Vivienne Westwood. The winner will help to design the dress and must be available to attend four fittings in London before April 2011. The winner must also be available to attend a cover shoot in the wedding dress in April, which will appear on the cover of Style in May. Transport to and from fittings and cover shoot is not included.
There are ten (10) different runners-up prizes that will be awarded randomly. The runners-up prizes are:
- A pair of shoes up to the value of £600 from every girl's shoe designer of choice; Christian Louboutin – prize only available from Christian Louboutin stand-alone boutiques or Selfridges London concession or Harvey Nichols London concession – prize to be taken by 28 February 2012
- Anya Hindmarch luggage trolley for the perfect start to your honeymoon. – The winner will receive an Anya Hindmarch Trolley bag worth £595.00.
- Full day passes to London’s Berkeley Spa for the bride and 3 of her hens including smoothies and a light lunch (excluding drinks) plus a facial and massage for the bride – prize to be used by 28 February 2012.
- A bridal hair consultation and goodie bag from celebrity hairdresser and bridal expert Richard Ward, to ensure your hair is salon perfect on your wedding day – appointments will be a week day and must be used by 28 February 2012.
- A set of bridal lingerie worth up to £500 from the ultimate name in naughty neglig!e; Agent Provocateur – from the Agent Provocateur bridal range only from their stand alone boutiques – prize to be taken by 28 February 2012
- The Guilty Pleasures DJ-ing at your reception, making sure the dancefloor stays full all night. – wedding must be taking place in Great Britain by 28 February 2012 and DJ set will last for 3 hours and the winner must cover travel and accommodation costs. If in the event that Guilty Pleasures are unable to attend on the date of the wedding TNL reserves the right to substitute Guilty Pleasures for an alternative performer of equivalent reputation.
- Flowers for the bridal party from the fashion packs florists of choice; McQueens. – winner must arrange transportation –and the value of the flowers is not to exceed £600
- The wedding cake of your dreams from bespoke cake creator Eric Lanlard. – winner must arrange transportation and value of the cake is not to exceed £1,000.
- A wedding planner from the stylish stationers Smythson, a must have for every bride-to-be.
- A consultation from Laura Mercier – appointments will be a week day and must be used by 28 February 2012
For all prizes the winner and runners-up are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the prize destination (where applicable). Prizes that require appointments are subject to availability and advance booking is required.
12. TNL reserves the right to publish entries (including parts of entries) other than the winning entry and publication does not necessarily mean the entrant has won a prize. The winner and runner’s up and all entrants’ entries will be published in Style magazine and online, including Facebook.
13. Entrants will retain copyright in their submitted entries, however, by entering, all entrants licence TNL a worldwide royalty-free perpetual licence to edit, publish and use each entry in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes.
14. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
15. Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
16. The Editor’s decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
17. TNL will not be liable for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant's ability to participate in the competition. Other than death or personal injury arising from the acts or omissions of TNL, or their employees, TNL will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winner or their guest’s enjoyment of the prize
18. By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by TNL the Sunday Times or any associated or subsidiary company of News International Limited.
19. Uses of personal data received by TNL in the course of the promotion are subject to the privacy policy found on the Website. Winners' names may be published on the Website.
20. Completion and submission of a registration slip or e-mail will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
21. TNL reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes) if, in their sole discretion, a competition is not capable for being conducted as specified. TNL reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event that circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.
