This means the credit check resulted in a "Marginal" score so your application has been referred to an underwriter to manually review your circumstances and credit file.

They will therefore make a human decision. Capital One are typically rather quick so if you call them on Tuesday / Wednesday they should say whether it's yes or no along with your credit limit.

    Good luck! :o

Doh! Marginal meaning it's close to the 'pass' mark. Either just under or over? Oh well, worth a punt at 9.9%. Otherwise I will go for the Halifax one I guess. I'll probably wait for the letter rather than phone though, I am in no rush.
