On line temporary storage

Is there a free way of storing large files (about 500Mb) on line ?
Dropsend (free) is limited to 50Mb file size
This is needed temporarily - ie) for 24 hours to allow a program to be "shared"
So I need the ability to back up folders too (not just files)

I already use Skydrive and that too is limited to 50Mb files and can't store folders either .....

If you use the Desktop App, then according to:

For example, if you have a free 2 GB account, you can upload one 2 GB file or many files that all add up to 2 GB.
