no spend day for me, hopefully.

Also, sold my old mobile this morning on ebay for £60 and at the station this morning cadbury's were giving out free chocolate - gonna go perfectly with a cup of tea in a minute (i've also impressed myself that i've lasted until now to eat it!) :D

Yum - I got one of those too - I got Turkish Delight. Mine didn't last long though - basically til I sat down on the train :rotfl: Oh well.......

Are you still keeping an eye on your mum's spending?

No one could criticise you for what you tried to do for her - but as they say 'you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink'.
    You look after yourself now:beer:

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
well done to all those with low/no spends!

i spent £4.81 in asda on what should hopefully cover me most of the week...bad news tho. i took my forms in to the court to get my bank charges back and they dont' take cc after all so i scrapped together all the money i had to pay the fees! so £78 wisely spent i hope! does mean that i only have £2.19 to last me the week. got a horrible feeling i may have to spend either my savings pot or on my cc if i run out of food which, since i haven't had the energy/effort to do a meal plan for this week, is quite likely. but as a good friend reminded me i'll get it all back, hopefully before xmas!
  • I spent £1.50 on a sandwich and £1.70 on pies for tea, but with discount card via DH work all half price cost £1.60 for lunch for me and tea tonight. Not bad at all for a Friday!
