Morning All
I spent £3 last night on raffle tickets for Children in Need, I don't mind that and I'm still within my £10 spend for the week.
Flying out to see my OH this afternoon
and will try very hard to avoid all temptation at the shops and walk past the coffee shops at the airport.
I'm going to try and remain in my target of £10 for this week. I don't think we have anything much planned this weekend so I should be OK.
Have a good weekend all.

Hi Imelda, Nice to see that you're giving Moozie a rest today.
So far I've spent £4.66 (tobacco) but hoping for a no-spender for rest of day.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

hey folks, sorry i've not been on, been up to eyeballs with work and gym...i've made a bet with one of my bosses that i can lose more body fat than him by xmas, only problem is he's a professional body builder and been in the fitness industry nearly my whole life so i've got a tough job ahead, but i'm bloody determined to do it!
anyway i've made it within my £10 this week, put 65p into my pot this morn. another tenner out the bank for this week.
yesterday i bought two pairs of jeans from peacocks from my bday money, one pair was £20 the other £16, tho we got £2 off vouchers in cause they just opened yesterday so my mse side told me to go in twice and get the £2 off each pair so £32 spent. the cheaper pair are going back today to be swapped for a two handbags tho, skinny legged so tight on my thighs but big on the waist
anyway good luck folks and i'll try and be more visible over the weekend!

I know what you mean Pandapants! I drive past a kebab shop and it's very tempting on a late cold night home from work! I usually give myself a £5 weekly treat....BUTPandaPants wrote:i always give in to the chippy van outside work or the chocolate machine!
My way to avoid temptation is to go home first, tidy up and then see if you want that kebab and can be bothered to go back out!
It's usually a no, so that's £4 a week saved! Haven't had a kebab for three weeks now.....:DCurrent debt and mortgage: £25, 820.35 Debt/Mortgage at start: £92,598 (27/09/2010)

Think I saw her lurking around somewhere earlier - but I'm sure she'll be about soon:beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

So far I've spent £1.20 on some bottled water for today and next week. Hoping to not spend anything else today, not going boozing tonight, staying in to revise, exam in 4 weeks time!I :heart2: saving money0

So far zilch - I walked to work (40 mins) instead of taking the bus (saving £1) and then ate (to be honest gross) a carton of soup that someone in the office got free last week plus free toast. Planning on go to the gym and walking home... if I do succumb and get the bus I will have spent a grand total of 80p all day! Yay! Exciting Friday night for me then....0
