Scottish Power price plan confusion
I am currently with Scottish Power on plan WWW Capped DD DF which comes to an end soon I think (not sure when). When I run my details though Uswitch ETC it tells me the best switch I could do would cost me another £500+ per year I realise prices will go up after the capped period but this seems a lot I've looked for info on the SP site but its very confusing.
I am paying at the moment.
Gas 1.368 plus 16.73 per day standing charge
Electric 5.22 plus 17.08 per day standing charge
I am paying £73 per month DD
Can anyone tell me what my new charges are likely to be after the cap ends.
Thanks for your help.

We quit ScottishPower because of the same problem you're experiencing: its prices were just too confusing. We were online dual fuel customers but from start to finish, ScottishPower's administration was a complete shambles -- we kept getting bills inviting us to register as online customers, even though we already were. Then when we were online we had letters on two occasions to say ScottishPower was experiencing difficulty and could we please re-register? And then after we did all that, hard copy bills continued to arrive with requests for us to become online users.
It was never clear from ScottishPower's bills just what type of customer they thought we were or what kind of discount we should be getting. After various letters and phone calls we gave up: the company seemed well-intentioned, but otherwise incapable of organising even the small-scale consumption of alcohol at a party in a brewery. . .0
