age/period of sideboard

Hi there, really hope you can help. I'm selling a sideboard on ebay for my parents but don't know how to describe it - would you mind looking at these pictures and letting me know what age/period you might think it is??
Thanks so much

a touch of art deco on there so probably c1920/1930s.
also looks a bit like utility furniture, so maybe later. say c1940s.

not worth that much nowadays, apart from some numpties in london who pay silly money for that stuff.
    Get some gorm.

The legs are cabriole style , which was a Queen Anne style with a mish mash of other styles including Deco/arts n crafts like Ormus says...............Baffle them with bull.lol

Carpenters Dovetailed joints too, they are wider that a cabinet makers dovetails and less refined.........I'm so anal sometimes .....

Probably 20's 30's pre-war as it has locks. Value ? TBH a fiver if you're lucky, not even the shabby chic gang could do much with it.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Its ertainly not 1940's. Very little furniture was made in that decade because of the war. What was made was utility furniture and certainly wouldn't have cabriole legs and carving.

Its a 1920's piece, looks like oak as well.

Will oulast all this rubbish from Ikea!!
