What do I do with glycerin?

I've been clearing out my pantry and found half a bottle of glycerin. It says it can be used for coughs, sore throats and dry skin, none of which we have 
Any suggestions as to what it can be used for, before I chuck it?

i thought you use glycerin in recipes, in a similar way to aspic. Im certain ive seen it in some of delias recipes (and I usually go as if im gonna buy that, god woman you always ask for obscure stuff!!!!! LOL)

I have some too, bought it for a recipe and then could never remember which recipe.

2 tablespoons glycerine, 2 tablespoons of honey and the juice of a large lemon, put in a jar and microwave without a lid for 1 minute on high, put on the lid and shake well. As it says on the bottle for coughs.Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0
