It's 2011 and we're looking for some truly bright ideas for our new range of products and who better to ask than you our friends and customers ? If you have an idea for a table lamp that you think fits with the Light Art style then tell us about it before January 31st and we're giving away 2 lamps, a Diego or Onion, your choice.

Hi all, I'm one of the designers at Light Art Studio. The competition above closed in January but we've had such good responses from this site that we've decided to run another that finishes in March. Just go to the same link in the article.

... but we've been really busy these last weeks and haven't been pushing this competition so the response until now was pretty underwhelming.

FYI Our time has been taken up making a Tiger Cub lamp for 21st Century Tiger, London Zoo's Tiger conservation organisation, profits to go to Tiger Conservation.

One more thing. Was chatting with Myra, our lead artist, this morning (she used to design the sets for pop videos including Herbie Hancock's Rokit which won a grammy). Myra is really impressed and pleased with the entries from this forum. Well done everybody and thank you.

We've had some really good responses from you all this week, so much so that we've decided that we'll be creating lamps from the winning designs (the winners will get one of those as well as an onion or diego).
