Hi,
Does anyone know the rules with regard to the above?
I have been receiving IB since 2000 and I am unlikely to be fit for work again. In 3 months I will qualify for my state pension. Once in receipt of my pension, will my entitlement to IB cease? Thanks in advance to anyone who can advise on this matter. Kje.

Your Incapacity Benefit stops when you reach the age to get State Retirement Pension - they are changing that age gradually so that men and women are 65 or more.
You will need to be looking at Pension Credit which gives you a minimum income guarantee plus a premium if you are sick or disabled. There are additional premiums paid if you already receive a disability benefit [DLA or AA] and another top up if you live alone and nobody claims Carer's Allowance0
