Isn't there? Because I am pretty sure my friend told me she gets something extra via tax credits due to a DLA claim which would be for her (MH problems). She is a single parent though.there wouldnt be a premium on ctc if its an adult getting dla
Alternatively it could be a low income in the previous year, or an underpayment or a *uck up by the tax credit people, that will be asked for back, but under normal circs you should only be getting around £10 ctc for a £28k salary.
Edit just found this which may explain

No there isn't. You can only get the disability premium on CTC if the child receives DLA or is registered blind.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Yes, I know but there's a reason he's getting more (if it's true) and I did put *think* that the reason could be if a DLA claim of the parent, made a threshold higher. I put about what a friend had told me, no reason to believe she's lied and was told it was incorrect and then found am link that backed what I'd said about her.the link is for working tax credit. the op earns about 10k too much to be entitled to it
No you don't get £50 a week ctc for 2 kids on £28k, not usually. There must be a reason, or it's a mistake.so on 28k a year with 2 kids, you get £50 a week ctc?
thats obscene and a kick in the teeth for all average childless earners!0 -
im inclined to think its a mistake as nothing adds up. so far from getting more it looks like the op could have a hefty bill0

There is something about a £25k (soon to be 10k) disregard.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
