    Assuming your relative was an employee of the company, (rather than it being your relative's company), they may have to claim it from the Redundancy Payments Office. The insolvency practicioner handling the liquidation should provide the relevant forms and information. Outstanding pay, holiday and redundancy payments can be claimed up to a statutory limit (which I think is £320 per week, but I'm sure someone else will come along who will know for sure).
